Power Girls & Power Boys Tage 2017:

Auch 2017 finden die Power Girls & Power Boys Tage schon zum neunten Mal am Lehrstuhl für Leistungselektronik statt. Wir freuen uns mit motivierten und technikinteressierten Schülerinnen und Schülern der 5. und 6. Klassen am 17. und 18. Juli theoretische und vor allem auch
praktische Erfahrungen zum Themengebiet erneuerbare Energien zu machen. Weitere Informationen sind auf dem Poster zu finden. Es stehen noch Restplätze zur Verfügung, welche nach Reihenfolge des Eingangs der weiteren Bewerbungen vergeben werden. Ansprechpartner sind Felix Hoffmann und Max Lutz, eine Anmeldung kann postalisch oder per E-Mail mit dem nebenstehenden Flyer erfolgen.

Power Girls Power Boys:

Every year the Chair of Power Electronics organizes the Power Girls & Power Boys days. On these days, pupils of the 5th and 6th grade of Kiel and the surrounding are invited to visit the Chair of Power Electronics. During their visit, they learn about physical basics and renewable energies. Under the supervision of the staff of the chair, they build prototypes like a solar driven windturbine or a lamp in a Tic-Tac box, which they can test. A special thanks goes to the sponsors Siemens, Jungheinrich and FTCap, who make it possible to organize the Power Girls & Power Boys Days.

The Hannover Messe is the most important industrial exhibition worldwide and Tec 2 You organizes guided tours for pupils to get own impressions about the event sponsored by different companies. The Chair of Power Electronics organizes the trip to Hannover for pupils in the senior grades to get in touch with technics and to motivate them to study a technical major. Depending on the interest of the students, the tours can for example focus on renewable energies or technics in general. A special thanks goes to the company Harting (AG), which sponsored the last visits.
